Tour description:

A combination of some visits to a wide variety of ethnic minority groups generally retaining their lifestyle, traditional costume with high mountains, deep ravines and terraced fields of Vietnam will excite your spirit of adventure. Travelling on 4 WD car is the best way to explore in depth the unequalled northern scenery and have more contact with the local people.

Tour Program:

Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai

21.00: Pick up at your hotel or residence and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station to take night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa (Breakfast)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at around 5.00 am. Meet and transfer to Sapa (38km), the former hill station discovered by the French at height of 1.600 m above sea level Check-in hotel to relax at leisure. In the afternoon, soft trek to Cat Cat village inhabited by Black H'mong ethnics, enjoy the nice landscapes of green forests and mountain and fresh atmosphere here. Back to Sapa by motorbike.

Day 3: Trekking & Homestay (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After having breakfast, start trekking uphill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to study life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village. After having picnic lunch carried by the tour guide, continuing trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic minorities. Enjoy 1 night homestay with a local family and delicious food cooked by the tour guide.

Day 4: Trekking & Back to Sapa (Breakfast/Lunch)

Waking up early morning to enjoy cool mountain air and bird singing. Trekking uphill to many terraced paddies and through bamboo forest, going down to Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dzao people. After a short village tours, coming back to the main road where jeep awaiting you to transfer back to Sapa. At 16.00, Transfer to Lao Cai railway station to catch night train back to Hanoi. End of service. Train arrives in Hanoi at around 5.00.
